I was brushing Cami's hair this morning and noticed she was missing a large chunk of hair right in the front. It had obviously been cut, to the point it was so short it was sticking straight up. I asked her about it and she totally denied knowing anything about it and burst into tears. Apparently she woke up that way this morning and has no idea how it happened. I went searching for the hair and discovered it on the kids bathroom floor next to a pair of child proof scissors. She claims that's not her hair and she doesn't know how it got there. As Cami told Chris a few weeks ago" You can't believe anything we say Dad, we're just a bunch of lyin kids!" Ironically I had a hair appointment scheduled for her this afternoon. Don't think the hair dresser will be able to repair any of the damage though. She is my first child to ever cut their own or someone else's hair. So happy she choose the week she's starting kindergarten to do it!

Austin did the same thing. The week of kindergarten starting. But a boy probably isnt as bad. He was cutting gum out of his hair. I am sure she still looks cute.
The final result is very cute, but I am so surprised that she would do that, the way she is about her hair. It must have REALLY been bothering her!
