Life as we know it

Life in the Cox family is never boring or dull. Between work, school, sports, and scouts we are managing to stay pretty busy. My good camera drown in the boat accident and I have been debating what to replace it with. I finally came to a decision, however it's on backorder and won't be available until the middle of October. So until then, I haven't been taking many pictures and the ones I have taken haven't been too great due to a big scratch on the old camera lens. So here is a rundown of our lives:

Chris: The clinic is staying pretty busy which is great. He is still squeezing in a few home health visits but they are getting harder and harder to fit in. He is working with the high school football team as their "team therapist" and often has players in the clinic getting taped up before practices and games. He attends all the home games and hangs out with the trainers and coaches to help with injured players. He is also coaching Cade's 5th/6th grade football team and has done a great job with the boys.
Erin: I spend most of the afternoon in the car transporting children to and from practices and games and school events. I have been doing the scheduling and billing for the clinic which is taking up alot of my time. I also get to play with Cassidy during the day while the kids are all at school. It's been really fun to have her all to myself and enjoy her sweet little personality. I am coaching Cami's 5-6 yr old soccer team. We have 8 little kids on our team and it is a riot!

Cade: Is loving playing football. He positions are running back and corner back. He's had some great tackles and scored a couple extra points. His team is undefeated so far and hasn't been scored on in 4 straight games. He recently received his Tenderfoot advancement in scouts. He got all A's and B's on his mid quarter grade report.
Carter: Is also loving playing football. He has scored a couple 60 yard touchdowns and numerous extra points. His team is so fun to watch because most of the kids are so little I think they look like bobble heads with their big shoulder pads and helmets and little skinny legs. He is doing great in 3rd grade and really likes his teacher. He is racking up the junior jogger miles this year, his goal is to make the 100 mile club. He just received his Wolf award in scouts. Carter got to make a trip to the ER a couple weeks ago. He thought it would be really cool to build a bike jump out of cardboard boxes out in the gravel. It didn't work out very well and he ended up with a U-shaped cut on the palm of his hand that was full of gravel and rocks. Chris worked on it for awhile but we couldn't get all the gravel out so we headed to the ER where they removed the rest of the debris and bandaged him up. He had to have his hand taped up with sports tape, especially for football because bandages wouldn't stay on. His friends all thought it was a pretty cool injury.
Cami: Cami is absolutely loving kindergarten. Her teacher is a good friend of ours and tells me everyday all the cute things Cami says. She is little miss social and I'm pretty sure she just chit chats all day long. She loves riding the bus to school in the morning and will go stand outside and watch for it to come around the corner then yell in to the boys to hurry, bus is coming. Kindergarten is full day and she thinks it's really cool when she gets to buy hot lunch. She scored a goal in her first soccer game last week. The tooth fairy has been a frequent visitor lately, Cami has practically no teeth left!
Cass: Ms Cassidy is a busybody. She spends the day rearranging drawers and cupboards for me. She is standing by herself now and prefers to stand at the coffee table and play. She has taken a couple steps but isn't walking quite yet. We go into the clinic a few mornings every week and she loves to flirt with the patients and crawl around getting into things. She is a total daddy's girl! As soon as she sees him she jumps out of my arms to get to him. She will stand at his legs and yell until he picks her up. Then she will rub his shoulder and give him loves. If Daddy's home she wants to be right there with him doing whatever he's doing. She gets mad at the boys football games because she wants to be with her Daddy while he's coaching. She really likes to look at books and will sit for a good 20 minutes just turning the pages and talking to her books. She is also turning into quite the dancer. She is constantly bobbing her head around and kicking her feet to the beat of any music she hears.
I can't believe how fast this last month has gone by. It seems like October really snuck up on me. The kids are picking Halloween costumes, the weather is starting to change, Cami is planning elaborate birthday parties for herself, before we know it it's going to be Christmas!
