Monday is Cami's turn for sharing day at school. Her teacher recently assigned 5 kids to each day as their official sharing day. Apparently kids were bringing things to school everyday and sharing time was taking way too long. So now each week on Monday is Cami's day. This was the first week of "Official" sharing time. Cami came home on Friday with a note about sharing day. She wanted me to mark it on the calendar so we wouldn't forget. If you forget your item then you have to tell share and that's just not the same. She even wrote herself a note that Monday was sharing and put it on her bed. I think she changed her mind about 15 times trying to choose just the perfect thing to take. She would bring me something that she was thinking about taking and want to practice doing sharing time so she could decide if that was what she wanted to take or not. She ended up taking the 1st place medal she won in the Sage and Sun run. The best part of sharing day is that after you stand in front of the class and tell about your item, if anyone has a question you get to call on them and answer their questions. Cami's teacher told me when it was her turn she told what she brought and then said, "I don't want to tell anything else, I'll take questions now!" I guess all the kids in the class had questions for her and she was thrilled to death to call on them and answer. When school got out I asked her how her day was she told me it was the best ever and she wishes everyday was Monday. We are already on the countdown until next Monday. She cracks me up.

How exciting for her, not that she loves being the center of attention or anything! I'm so glad she is loving school so much!
