I'm sure every family has one - the famous puke bowl. Ours is a big white Tupperware bowl. Our week started last week with Cami in need of "the bowl." By the end of the week 5 of the 6 of us had ear infections, strep throat and some of us also had a stomach bug on top of it. We made trips to the pediatrician, walk in clinic and urgent care and came away with meds for everyone, except Carter who is still holding out he is not sick.
Cass kept stealing Cami's bowl so we had to get her one of her very own. She was thrilled to sit next to her sissy with her bowl and blankie and watch movies.
I don't think she quite understood the purpose of the bowl. I'm just glad she didn't really need to use it!
Some evidence that while the parents are sick in bed the children do whatever they choose. This included sticking stickers all over the kitchen table,
and dumping every puzzle we own, along with most of the buckets of toys in the playroom. Such fun to be an unsupervised 1 year old! I am happy to report the bowl has been put away. We are all on the mend now and are in the process of sterilizing everything anyone has touched or breathed on.

Oh "the bowl", so many memories of ours! Good thing Cass didn't use hers before putting it on her head, that would have been quite the scene! So glad you are all getting well, good luck Carter!!
