Every summer Ephrata hosts Basin Summer Sounds - a weekend long event with different bands playing, a big 3 on 3 basketball tournament and tons of bounce houses for the kids. Carter and some friends put together a team to compete in the 3/4th grade division. They played 3 games in a row and then had an hour break before playing 3 more games. I think they ended up taking 6th place in their division. By the end they were all exhausted!
