This season Cami played up on a U-8 team. This is the first division where they no longer play co-ed so it was an all girls team. They were The Breeze. Several of the Cami's good friends were on the team and they were so cute and funny to watch - so different than the co-ed teams she's played on before. When it was their turn to kick off they would say to each other "You go ahead, I kicked it last time" "No, you go it's okay." "Your hair is so cute today" and on and on. Whenever they would score a goal they would all run into a big group and hug each other. They were constantly chatting about everything as they were playing. Their poor coach (who is also the high school football coach) just couldn't help but roll his eyes and laugh - especially since one of the girls who was especially chatty was his daughter. He was constantly telling them it isn't a tea party, it's a soccer game. Cami got to play goalie during several games and really liked it. She also scored a couple goals this season. Chris sponsored their team and Cami thought it was really cool that she had a jersey with her dad's logo on it. All in all a good season - even if they were more into the socializing than the soccer.
