Recent Stuff

Life slowed down for all of about a day and a half around here.  There are only 17 1/2 days of school left! Cami and Cade both finished out their soccer seasons recently.  We are sports free until swim team starts this summer.  Cade is doing intramural track and golf at school.  All three older kids are participating in the All-City Track meet next week and have been to one practice for that.  But as far as regular practices and games we are on hiatus.  Carter and Cami have a piano recital coming up at the end of the month and Cami has her first violin recital in 2 weeks.  We found out a couple weeks ago the house we are living in sold and we have to be out in 16 days and counting.  While we have loved living in a small town - it does have some downsides.  One of which is a lack of houses available to rent!  As of right now we have not found a place to move.  We have looked at several different houses and I think I've found the setting for the next "The Haunted" show.  A couple of the houses we've seen look like the "before" pictures from a DIY show.  A little on the scary side.  Chris jokingly said we could move into our camp trailer and park at the campground close by.  Cami thinks that would be the most awesome thing ever and is hoping for that option.  We are hoping to look at a house this weekend that looks somewhat promising.  I think we need to put everything in storage, take the summer off and travel but for some reason Chris doesn't think that's a good idea.
