The Happiest Place on Earth

The kids were out of school last Thursday and Friday so my mom and I took them to Disneyland. It was so nice, in the 80's everyday. The kids had a blast. Carter's favorite ride was Thunder Mountain. Cade's was Indiana Jones. Carter is proud to announce he is finally tall enough to ride Indiana Jones, however he didn't do it this trip because he wanted to wait and go with dad (a little nervous about it I think) next time. Cami loved Peter Pan and Dumbo. We went to Goofy's Kitchen, a character restaurant for dinner Thursday. Cami was terrified of the characters walking around and freaked out anytime someone came near her. She made me take a picture of Sleeping Beauty but refused to be in the picture with her. The funniest thing is that Cami has talked about eating with the characters and how much she loved it and wants to do that again ever since we've been back. She says that was her favorite part of the trip! It was a fun little vacation, except for the ride home which took us about 6 hours because of traffic. We can't wait for Chris's work schedule to change so we can take some more long weekends and be able to go as a family. The kids never get tired of going to the Happiest Place on Earth!
