It's been a busy few weeks at our house. Last week Chris and I went to Washington for Jeff and Lili's wedding. It was fun to spend some time with all of Chris's family. The wedding was great, they were married in the Tri-cities temple then had Lili's little girl Emma sealed to them. The kids stayed home with Grandma and had a blast. Cami got to have her sleepover at Aunt Alli's and did all the fun girl stuff - painting nails, princess hair.
The boys lost their playoff football game a horrible 0-32.
School is finishing up this Friday so we've had the usual end of the year stuff going on.
Swim lessons are in full swing and I have been teaching way too many lessons. Hopefully now that I've got more teachers that will calm down a little. Chris has been playing Mr. Mom while I've been teaching. He's got the whole afternoon routine down - carpool, snack, homework, dinner, bath, bed. He even makes the kids dinner and has been seen doing laundry! It's been so nice to have him home more and able to help with the kids, especially since I've been gone.
Our most exciting news of the last few weeks is we got 2 little kitties. They were abandoned at a teacher from schools apartment. They are about 6 weeks old. The kids named the striped one Tiger and the spotted one Bullseye. They are very playful and fun. Bullseye likes to sleep on Carters pillow at night after Carter goes to sleep. Carter usually wakes up freaking out when this happens. Cami carries them all over the house and pretends they are her babies. She gets very upset when they won't stay in her stroller so she can take them on a walk around the house. Poor kitties.
