Disneyland

We made a quick trip to Disneyland this last weekend. The weather was perfect and Disneyland was all decorated for Halloween. It was so fun!

One of the boys favorite things to do is go to Pirates Island. They love to run around and explore all the caves.
Cami was excited to see all the princesses.

Cami celebrated a milestone at Disney this trip, she is finally over 40 inches tall and can ride pretty much everything now. Her first official ride as an over 40 incher was Space Mountain. She was a little nervous walking into the ride and wasn't sure she wanted to go on it. But I convinced her that it was a ride where you pretend you are in a space ship and you see pretty stars. ( I failed to mention you do this going superfast in the dark!) As our spaceship was going up the big ramp at the beginning of the ride she looked around and said, "Oh, you can see all the beautiful stars!" They the rocket took off and she didn't think it was so pretty anymore. As we got off the ride they gave her a sticker saying it was her first time on the ride and that seemed to make everything better. She loved Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Soarin California though. After her 2nd ride on Thunder Mountain she was a pro and was riding with her arms in the air screaming. It was fun to finally all be able to go on rides together and not have to do the baby swap. And Cami was thrilled she was so big now!

My favorite times of year to go to Disney are at Halloween and Christmas. It's fun to see all the different holiday decorations and it's usually not too crowded so we get to go on lots of rides.

Lucky you! I'm jealous! Looks like a lot of fun. Last time we went to Disneyland, Kylie got to ride splash mountain and thunder mountain, but I was the one who didn't want her on space mountain yet. I think she would've been scared of all the other ones, but glad Cami got a sticker to make things okay. :) Glad you all had a fun time.
