Roughin It

Last weekend we went camping with some friends at Mt. Charleston. The kids all had a blast and came home filthy! At night it rained a little and was cold but we still had fun.
All the kids getting warm by the fire while waiting for breakfast.

The girls climbing trees.

Cade, Carter and Cami hiking.

Rock climbing

The little kids with their smores and glowsticks. I think Cami ate about 30 marshmallows over the weekend.

The boys all LOVED the fire. They all looked for sticks to throw in and loved cooking over the fire - true boy scouts in the making.

Cade especially loved using the hatchet to chop wood. I love how the boys are all gathered around watching. Chopping things up and burning them - pure heaven for a boy.

I wish that my friends would go camping with me - they won't go unless we get a cabin! That looks like so much fun!!! Our kids LOVE to camp!
