In about 6 1/2 months we will be a family of 6. We will no longer fit in a car with only one backseat. However everyone will have someone to go on rides with when we got to Disneyland! Cami is REALLY hoping to even out the boy/girl ratio. Cade and Carter haven't asked too many questions about the pregnancy, they just aren't very interested in the details I guess. Cami on the other hand is completely fascinated with the whole thing. A few weeks ago as we were walking through the grocery store she asked me how babies get in the mommy's tummy. I told her they grow there. Then she wanted to know if they grow out of the food you eat. I told her no, they grow out of special eggs inside the mommy. "You have to swallow an egg and then it grows into a baby?" she asked me. "I hate eggs!" I had to tell her they weren't the same kinds of eggs you eat, they were very small special eggs that are inside the mommy's body that grow into a baby. That seemed to satisfy her curiosity. A little later she asked me how the mom gets the eggs inside her boy. I told her you are born with them. "Oh great, so I have eggs inside me!" she said. "And when I want to be a mom one will grow into a baby?" Hmm, yep, that's just how it works. Then when we were at Disneyland last week we passed twin little girls riding in a stroller. Cami got all excited that they were twins, just like her cousins Cason and Cael. Then she asks me how you get to be twins. I explained that twins means two babies that are born at the same time. She wanted to know how two babies could fit inside the mom's tummy. I told her they just squished in there. Wow, she said, that mom must have had a HUGE tummy! After thinking about it for a few minutes she announced, "Hey, so did that lady have 2 special eggs that grew into twins?" I'm sure the next 6 months will be filled with lots more questions and explanations, not to mention the conversations we will have after the baby is born! Gotta love it!

She is so smart!!! And curious! I've had the same conversations with her, fortunately after you told me what you had told her!!! Don't you wish you were a fly on the wall at preschool and in her primary class?? Congratulations to all of you!
Oh my gosh! I just saw you and you didn't say anything! Well, congratulations! That is so exciting. Hope you are feeling well. I'll add you on to our pregnancy list. :) :)
Kylie and Peyton are right here asking to see every picture of Cami!
And do you guys have a season pass to Disneyland? You'll have to let me know some details and all. Sounds fun.
CONGRATULATIONS!! I had no idea you guys were expecting another!! How exciting!!
Congratulations! I didn't know that you were pregnant :) Cami cracks up - good questions and answers though!
When she stayed over I was talking to her about it. I was asking her thought provoking questions like, how does the egg turn into a baby, how the baby gets out, and things like that! Good luck!
Thanks Steve, just remember, you have a little girl too and some day her favorite aunt (me!) will get to tell her all kinds of things her parents don't want her to know!
Thats exciting! I'm happy for you guys!
congrats to your family. how exciting. I hope you are feeling well, and that you have a wonderful pregnancy.
i remember back in Oct. I had that many days, and now I am almost done, only 40 days. yeah.
Cami is such a smart little girl! I dread the days when I start getting questions like those. Good thing, I know a few people who have been there, done that! Congrats again!
That is so cute. She sure is paying attention. Good luck. Oh and by the way I am so happy for your guys. I can't wait.
Congratulations Erin! Another Cox to add to the family tree! You are at the funnest stage of life except when you have grandchildren. Enjoy every moment of it. It goes so fast.
Aunt Lorrie
Congratulations!
I can tell you that Cami seriously makes me laugh more than any of the other kids in preschool. She is hilarious and SO smart. She has convinced other kids in class to ask their moms to have a baby too so her baby will have friends. She is already a thoughtful big sister.
Congratulations, Erin! I'm THRILLED for you! Smooth explanation on the whole egg situation, by the way. I'm taking notes.
Congratulations Erin!! I am so excited for you!! What a wonderful blessing. yay!!!
