Injured

I got the dreaded call from the school nurse today asking me to come pick up Carter. He was playing football at lunch recess and had smacked heads with another child. His head was bleeding and they weren't able to get it stopped and it looked pretty bad. So off to school I went to pick him up. He had a gaping cut above his eyebrow. Luckily I was able to get him in with our pediatrician and didn't have to go to the ER. He got 5 stitches! This was the first time one of our kids has had to get stitches so I guess once every 10 years isn't too bad. He was very brave and did pretty good while they sewed him back together. Hopefully there won't be too bad of a scar. Of course, he had to ask the dr. if he could still play football. The dr. said that was fine, as long as he didn't play too rough or collide with anyone. What do you think the chances of that are?

Yep. I don't think you can stop the kid from playing the game and playing it hard. Tell him chicks dig scars. But I am with you, hopefully it doesnt scar to much. Good luck.

Jacob has a scar just like the one Carter may get but over his right eye. It actually looks kinda cool and you really can't even see it unless you are really looking for it.

I can't believe you've gone this long without ER visits!!! We were regulars there and thats before insurance. Maybe because we lived on the farm. Now Carter has a story to tell when they ask about his scar.
On another note - Michael got a perscription to see a Physical Therapist(back problems) He couldn't get in until May 20th! Thats in Moses Lake. I think your coming to the right area.
