Birthdays and Kittens

Carter really wanted a bean bag for his birthday! He got a red one as well as the new NCAA 2010 Play station game and a DS game. He also got a new Webkinz from Brent and Cindy who are in town visiting.

We are officially the worlds worst pet owners. We got one of our cats fixed (Tiger) but we were going to wait a month or so and then do the other one (Bullseye). Well, when we got around to fixing Bullseye it was too late, she was already pregnant. So this spring she had her first litter of kittens. The vet told us they could fix her at 12 weeks postpartum. Well, about 13 or so weeks after she had the kittens we decided we'd better make her an appointment and get her in. Guess what, too late again! Sunday morning at 12:30 am she had 7 kittens! Notice how different they look than her last set. I think she is quite well known around the neighborhood by the boy cats! Carter was thrilled the kittens have the same birthday as him. So now I guess we will be moving with 9 cats instead of 2! Lucky us.

Looks like a great birthday Carter, I love the red bean bag. That will be great in your room at your new house! Cute kittens too, can't wait to come see them!

Wow, your cat gets around!! That is pretty cool that they were born on Carter's birthday. Bryce wants to know if he can come and play the new play station game??

Don't let your kids read this but my kids used to call our cat a "slut" because she had a batch of kittens as often as cats can have kittens. It was just rediculous. But she was wild and although she never left us she wouldn't let us touch her the 10 years she lived with us. And the sad things was, only one of those cats ever survived. Cyotes and well, me taking them to town on the motor of our car. WE Are the worst pet owners, trust me!
