Poor Carter lost the battle of eye vs knee last night. He and Cade were playing football in the yard and Carter tried to jump over Cade but collided with Cade's knee. How he didn't split his cheek open I don't know. It was one of those bumps that has a huge line down the middle of it like it was about to split open. He woke up this morning with his eye swollen and a nice bruised lump on his cheek. His biggest concern about the whole thing was that they are playing football in pe today and he was afraid the teacher won't let him play because he's hurt.

Oh my gosh! Poor Carter! He is such a tough little guy, whether it's stitches or a shiner, all he wants is to get back in the game!!!!
at least you got it from your brother and not your sister!
