Life has been pretty routine around here. The weather is changing (and we are freezing) and fall is in the air. Chris has been here for a little over a week and life is moving right along. I've kept him pretty busy assembling entertainment centers, desks, bookcases, hanging pictures and all the other fun things associated with moving into a new house. We are pretty much settled in now: boxes unpacked, pictures hung, etc.
The kids are adjusting well. They have made friends with the kids next door and run between our house and theirs all afternoon. It is so great that they are able to play outside and ride bikes without the worries of cars, strangers, balls going over the wall, etc. They are making friends at school and are doing well.
Sports are taking up lots of our time. Carter continues to score at least one goal in each soccer game. He is playing in a tournament this weekend and has at least 3 games on Saturday, possibly a 4th game depending on how they do.
Cade is doing great at football and is happy to have his dad here to give him some pointers. They won their game last Saturday! They have made huge improvements over the last couple weeks and are looking good.
Cami is enjoying gymnastics and has almost mastered a cartwheel and handstand. She will be starting hip-hop/jazz dance next week as well. She is loving preschool and making lots of friends.
Chris is still waiting for his PT license for the state of WA to come through, we are hoping it will be this week. He is ready to start working doing home health and getting his clinic up and going.
I am 33 weeks pregnant today. My c-section is scheduled for 7:30 am on 11/10/09. She still remains nameless. I can't wait to meet this little baby. She has been extremely active and is constantly moving around. I'm hoping she is getting it all out now and will be a perfect newborn, calm and sleeping through the night from day 1. Probably not with my luck but at least I can hope. She is currently breech so I have a nice big head in my rib cage. I can't believe only 7 weeks until we have 4 kids! Time has gone by so fast.
I had to post a picture of my new favorite product: the wonder hangers. Our closets in Vegas had the greatest built ins that held so much! We could fit all our clothes, food storage, linens and games in our master closet. The new house, not so much. The closet space is horrible! This was my side of the master closet last week, actually my stuff was taking up both sides of the closet. We got these wonder hangers (an as seen on tv product) and now....
all my stuff fits on one side! I love it. It still has a long way to go to be totally organized but it's a start and Chris can at least hang his stuff up now.
This last picture is something Cami drew yesterday that I thought was very sweet. She brought it to me and made me guess who and what it was. I guessed it was someone laying in their bed. I was wrong. After many unsuccessful guesses she finally had to give me some clues. She said it was someone who was dead in a box. I guessed Snow White. Wrong again. My next clue was it was someone she and Tommy (her little cousin) knew who had died and this was them at their funeral with the stars and sun and their flowers. By this point I had given up. It was a picture of Grandma Jane. (My grandma who passed away in Jan.) I can't believe she remembered going to the funeral and putting flowers on the grave. I was glad to see she had drawn Grandma with a smile on her face and looking peaceful (I love the extra long legs!) She is such a sweetie (when she wants to be) and is so smart it amazes me everyday. She is so excited to be a big sister and take care of the baby. I just can't believe my baby is about to turn 5! She has grown up so fast.

Your belly is so cute!!! I can't wait for the baby to be born either! Seriously... those wonder hangers are the coolest thing ever! I've seen the commercial but didn't think they really made that big of a difference! You need to submit those photos to the company for them to use for advertisement! Is it a pain to get your clothes out of them?
The days do fly by. Love how you said nut shell and so is your background.
Sorry about the cold. Hopefully you will get used to it.
WooHOO. Seven more weeks. I cant wait.
Haha, i can just see you in the commercial now! its in black and white... you are all frazzled and without makeup and your hair is going crazy and you are just so frustrated as you try to jam stuff in... then with your wonder hangers... you are totally made over... the picture is in color... you are dressed very nice and look so relaxed and place your clothes so leisurely in the spacious, luxurious closet! haha.
We have had all our empty frames hung up on our walls for weeks now... just over the weekend we actually printed pictures and put them into our hanging empty frames! The funniest thing is that most of the people that came over never noticed that all the frames were empty!
You look great! And we miss you. I'm glad that life in WA is going well for you. I'm still very jealous. I'm trying to get over it. :)
by the way my word verification is : whory - NICE
I can't believe that you only have 7 weeks left! Crazy! Glad to hear that Cade won his game.
So I am always aware of girl names that begin with a C, just in case I hear one that will solve all your baby naming problems. Hear is my latest - Capri.
You look great! I miss you!! When Bryan takes care of Heber while I am teaching preschool he'll say, "Heber, you want to run errands with me?" To which Heber always replys, "Yes! I want to run to Erin's!"
wow you guys are busy! glad to hear you are settled and enjoying ephrata and all it has to offer.
naming little ones is a harder task then one would think, good luck and cant wait to meet her!
I can't believe those wonder hangers really work. Allison was over the other day and saw them on tv and said, wow, I need those!!! That is amazing! I am so glad the kids have friends next door and run back and forth, what a great thing that is for kids, like you guys used to do with Rasmussens! I can't wait to come up in November!!!! Think I better start shopping for cold weather clothes between trips to Ephrata and Rexburg!
We had to resort to wonder hangers too! As long as you don't hang 5 pairs of jeans on one your good!! Did you get the onesie I mailed up?
J - got the onsie, very cute, thanks. I have 5 coats on a hanger and so far so good. I was very skeptical at first but they are great!
Erin you look amazing! Can't believe your pregnancy is almost done. As for the fourth baby being perfect.....that is NOT the case in my home, but maybe you will get lucky, wish you the best!
