I love her to death but sometimes I want to sell her to the gypsys, heck, lately I'd just give her to them! The last couple weeks you would think a teenage girl lived at our house instead of a sweet 5 year old. There have been mood swings, crying, slammed doors, rolled eyes, dirty looks, and many claims of, "Hey, that's not fair!" She will only wear what she wants - which means no pants that have any kind of buttons or zippers, no tights, and nothing blue. Then she has to change clothes several different times until she finds the outfit that feels just right, all while throwing the rest of the clothes all over her room. Then we have to find the right shoes, and just the right pair of socks that don't have any bumps on them when you put them on, this usually requires trying on at least 2 different pairs of socks. The bumps don't seem to make their appearance until after the shoes are on and tied (must be tied just right so the loops aren't too long and don't touch the floor and must be double knotted) and you are on the way out the door, then suddenly they become so painful they cause you to fall on the ground crying and kicking your feet until they can be smoothed out or better yet, new unbumpy socks are put on. Her hair must be styled to her liking, including what kind of bow or flower she wants to wear or she will take it out, claiming you didn't do it right. Last week we got to school, only to have her refusing to get out of the car because she didn't like what she was wearing, even though she picked it out. She claims she doesn't need to go to school anymore because she already knows EVERYTHING! She wants to call her friends on the phone just to see what they are doing and say hi. She thinks it's a complete injustice that she has to go to bed earlier than everyone else, especially Cassidy! She can argue with the best of them and doesn't give up without a fight. She can be so excited and happy then do a complete 180 and be in tears and ticked at the world in a matter of seconds for no apparent reason. Guess I should be happy she is learning to stand up for herself and isn't going to be a pushover. She is definitely a strong girl who knows what she wants and is determined to get it. Good thing she is so cute!

I dont see a thing wrong with what she is wearing. I think a yellow Bonanza shirt would also go good with those pants! Or maybe camo shorts!
Sounds a lot like a couple of her aunts!!!! Hmm, which ones could it be???
Wow! I just can't wait until Sara is at that stage.
I thought it was the terrible twos all that happened.
I'm assuming the "aunt" is me! And I am proud she is following in the footsteps! I can go from tears to ticked instantly as well... I never outgrew that! And... you can't have good looking hair if you never care~! Right... wasn't that your motto!
AAHHH!!! There's a chicken!!!
Alli - Her hair is done just fine - not a chicken in sight, just apparently not in the sytle she chooses, usually after I already do it! I'm pretty sure she got the door slamming from another aunt who had to have her door removed because she slammed it so much. I will give you credit for the drama though!
Your style of hair has to match your outfit... it is true! It can "make or break" your outfit. That is why we get along so well.... we are both drama queens!
Now that's something to be proud of! Haha, you ALL are so dramatic!!
She is cute!!! I hate the sock thing. Three of mine went through that. But hang in there. I know the girl teenage thing is going to be pretty interseting.
Oh man, this made Seth and I burst out laughing. She sounds so cute, you're right 5 going on 15! :)
Here is the link to the Valentine's topiary. Have fun!
