Thursday night was our Cub Scout troops Blue and Gold dinner and awards. Cade earned his Webelos badge as well as 3 sports and academic belt loops, 1 sports and academic pin and 4 Webelos pins. 
Carter earned a Wolf bead for completing 3 requirements, 8 sports and academic belt loops, and 5 sports and academic pins.
To celebrate Boy Scouts 100 birthday a local retirement home invited the Scouts to come have cake with the residents. The boys all got to visit with former scouts and leaders and hear about what scouts was like in the good old days! They even got to pose for the local newspaper with the residents who have been involved in scouting.

Congrats to Cade and Carter. Kevan starts soon and I'm at a loss on the cub scout thing. Good thing Shawn's around.
