Cami's new obsession is playing cars. Everyday she drags out the car mat and the bucket of cars and spends hours playing. The boys used to spend most of their days playing cars but Cami puts a whole new spin on it. Her cars don't crash into each other or race each other. They each have a name and personality and are all friends or somehow related to each other. They each have their own home, which involves the entire house. Some cars live under the kitchen table, some under the desk or piano, some in the middle of the kitchen floor. The cars go visit each other and have detailed conversations about how lovely they look today or what they will be doing after school. They follow each other to the park or to the store so they can play together. Occasionally one car will even hurt another cars feelings and none of the rest of the cars will play with the mean car for the rest of the day. It has go sit in it's garage by itself. It's hilarious to sit and listen to her play out all these little scenarios with hot wheels. It reminds me alot of playing Barbies with my friend Mellisa when we were little. We would use masking tape and tape out floor plans of our Barbie houses on her living room floor. Her Barbies were lucky enough to have real Barbie furniture while mine had to use random nick knacks gathered from all over Melissa's house. We would play for days leaving everything set up at the end of the day ready to continue the next day. I'm sure Melissa's mom was just thrilled to have her living room and accessories occupied by Barbies for days on end.

So cute, as I was reading, the thought came to my mind, oh, just like Erin and Melissa and their Barbies. Then as I read on I saw you had the same thought. Two great minds!!
