Carter

Yesterday I asked Carter how school went.  Usually this question is followed by a play by play of the recess football game.  After hearing the rundown of who scored and who was tackled by who and why his back and pants were covered in mud he very nonchalantly said, "Oh yea, and I'm in the semi-finals for student council."  I hadn't even known he had been nominated for student council!  Today was the final voting and he won!  He will be one of three 4th grade boy student council reps next year.  He was very excited and came running out of school to tell me he'd won. Way to go Carter.
