Friday while the kids were at school Cassidy and I went to Costco. When we got home I came in through the garage and was making numerous trips into the house unloading all the groceries we had bought. Cassidy stayed in the house and "helped" unload boxes and put hings away while I carried things in. As I brought one of the last loads in I heard Cassidy shut the door from the house to the garage and turn the lock. She had locked herself in the house, along with my keys. I tried to get her to unlock the door but she couldn't figure out how to turn the lock back. By now she was screaming and freaking out. After unsuccessfully trying to break into my own house I was desperate and called 911. The benefits of living in a small town - 2 officers came right out and were able to open the door using a credit card. (I wasn't very comforted by the fact that my door can be opened in under 30 seconds with a credit card!) By that time Cassidy was completely hysterical but otherwise fine. Guess we need to hide a key in the garage so we don't have to do that again!

I wonder if it was the same officer who came to the door when you first moved in and asked you if you knew Cami was riding her bike alone outside!!! They may be watching you!!!
