Horseback Riding

The last several months Cami has been taking horseback riding lessons from our neighbor Jamie.  Jamie won numerous awards and riding competitions growing up and has been a great teacher for Cami.  Cami loves to look at all of Jamie's awards and ribbons displayed in the tack room.  She usually gets to ride a horse named Madison.  She recently started riding in the English saddle and is learning to post and trot.  Some of the things she has learned are changing directions, backing up, weaving in and out of cones, mounting and dismounting, and walking.  She looks forward to her lesson all week and can't stop talking about buying a horse of her own.  Cassidy has also gotten to ride with Cami at the end of her lessons the last couple weeks and loves it.  She throws a fit when her turn is over and we have to leave.  But she calms right down when we take the horse back to the stable and she gets to pet the other horses.  When she sees a horse as we are driving she will say "there's Madison!"  I think we are definitely going to have to get these girls their own horse when we build our house!
