Tournament Weekend

Carter played in a soccer tournament last Saturday. Despite wind, rain and very cold weather they played awesome!! They lost their first game, but won their 2nd and 3rd games and qualified for the playoffs. Carter scored one goal in each of the last 2 games and played goalie for the 2nd half of each game. He was able to stop every ball and his team wasn't scored on at all after the first game. They took 3rd overall in the playoffs with Carter scoring all 3 of his teams goals to win 3-2. They got a team trophy and each player got a medal. It was a very long, wet day (it rained through the whole playoff game) but very exciting to watch them play so well. Way to go Strikers!
