Happy New Year

We took the first week of the year off school and work and flew to Vegas on New Years Day. This is what we woke up to Monday morning - 2 inches of snow! Also the same day we were suppose to be doing family pictures at the park. Luckily it was all melted by noon and pictures were cold but came out cute. We got to meet baby Alexis and baby Jake. They are both so sweet and tiny! Hard to believe Cassidy was that size a year ago! I could snuggle them all day. Except that every time I got one of them in my arms Cami came and wanted to hold them too. Even Carter loved holding them.
The girl cousins all had matching birthday dresses from Grandma. Not the easiest group to get to sit still for a picture! I realized after we got home I didn't get any pictures of the boy cousins together. They were always too busy playing army or flashlight tag or basketball. After 6 days in Las Vegas we went to California. While there we visited my Grandpa. This is him with 6 of his 10 great-grand kids.

We went to Disneyland and had a great time!

Cami is loving having more girls around. For awhile it was just boy cousins on my side of the family. Now with a little sister and a girl cousin into princesses she finally has someone to go do the "girl stuff" at Disney with like meet princesses.

We took pictures with the Toy Story group, Tinkerbell and friends, and of course the Princesses. Cassidy was not too happy about having her picture taken with any characters. Maybe next year.

Now we are trying to get back into the routine of school, work, sports and regular life. Our trip was a great way to start off 2011. Hopefully the rest of the year is as fun!
