Cami has been asking about getting her ears pierced for awhile but we've always put it off or she lost interest. Sunday she came home from her new sunbeam class in our new ward talking about all the girls in her class who had beautiful dresses and earrings. Then she went to her little summer preschool class yesterday and came home convinced she needed to get her ears pierced. She even told us, "I know it will hurt a little but that's okay." So we agreed she could do it. I really thought she would chicken out when it actually came time to get them pierced but she went through with it! She picked out cute little pink earrings and sat there so brave. Luckily they did both ears at once because I don't think she would have been brave enough to do it twice. She only cried a little then grinned when she looked in the mirror. This morning she asked me what earrings I was going to wear today and told me, "Mom, I am so much more beautiful than you are!"

OH MY GOSH! I AM SO SURPRISED! Tell her she is beautiful! Costume jewelry here she comes! I heard Raquel picked her out some gold hoops today!
